NCI SBIR MATCHUP Program for Awardees

Are you an SBIR- or STTR-funded company with an active award? 

Stage 1: Apply to MATCHUP

Email your program officer outlining your intention to participate in your program before contacting Melissa Li for an application.

Small businesses will be screened for eligibility. Companies must have at least 8 months remaining on the parent award to participate.

Stage 2: Partner via MATCHUP

Accepted participants will have specific information posted on a private online platform that will be monitored by NCI SBIR. Accepted participants will have access to the platform to identify potential partners to apply to the Administrative Supplement.

Stage 3: Apply for Administrative Supplement (PA-24-255)

Partnered companies and candidates are encouraged to meet with their program officer before applying for the Administrative Supplement (PA-24-255). Administrative Supplement Applications must be submitted with at least 6 months remaining on the parent award.

What you will get with an Administrative Supplement (PA-24-255):

Additional funding to cover the salary of the recruited early career scientist who will directly contribute to the completion of your project.

 

Eligibility Criteria

(based on Administrative Supplement notice of funding opportunity)

  • Must have an active NCI SBIR/STTR award

  • Must have at least ~8 months remaining in the NCI SBIR/STTR project period
