Commercialization Workshops

The NCI SBIR Development Center offers commercialization workshops for current NCI Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program awardees.

In particular, NCI SBIR hosts the Translational Resources to Expedite Commercialization Success (TRECS) Workshop every other year. The workshop allows awardees to learn how to use federal and local resources to advance commercialization. Representatives from federal agencies like the Food and Drug Administration, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, as well from local and private organizations share their expertise. Attendees can meet one-on-one with their Program Directors, as well as with speakers at the event.
