NCI SBIR Regional Webinar: Turbocharging Mid-Atlantic Cancer Breakthroughs

The NCI SBIR Development Center will host a virtual information session to provide cancer technology innovators from the Mid-Atlantic region (Delaware, DC, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia) a chance to learn more about national and region-specific funding opportunities and small business resources on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. ET. NCI SBIR Program Team Leader Monique Pond and Program Director Sarra Djemil will lead an overview of the NCI SBIR programs, entrepreneurial resources, and local support for biotech startups in the Mid-Atlantic region. They will be joined by SBIR-funded Duo Oncology's CEO, Dr. Sam Rothstein, and COO, Dr. Katie Eichinger, to share lessons learned throughout their journey to bring cancer technology from lab to patients.
