NIH SBIR/STTR Funding Opportunities for University of Nebraska Innovators

Are you interested in learning more about funding opportunities to help you further develop and commercialize your novel technologies? If so, we encourage you to join UNeMed on October 16, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. CT for a virtual event about non-dilutive funding opportunities through the National Institutes of Health (NIH) small business (SBIR/STTR) grant program. Attendees will hear about funding opportunities and scientific priorities at the following institutes, centers, and offices:

• NIH Small Business Education and Entrepreneurial Development (SEED) Office
• National Institute for Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS)
• National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) 
• National Cancer Institute (NCI) 
• National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI)
• National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) 

A moderated Q&A session with the speakers will follow presentations. This free event is part of UNeMed’s 2026 Innovation Week and is open to all.
