The NCI SBIR Development Center provides funding, mentoring, and networking assistance for next-generation cancer technologies. These resources are powering innovation in the fight against cancer. This session is appropriate for researchers working on innovative technologies and early/established entrepreneurs in the biotech research space. Following an overview of the resources and services provided by the NCI SBIR Development Center, leaders from three NCI awardee companies will present the story of how NCI enabled their technology translation from the lab towards the market. A dedicated Q&A session will be moderated to explore the process of commercializing novel technologies to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer and the role of NCI as an innovation engine for next-generation cancer technologies.
